STATUS: Part-time; 20 hours/week LOCATION: Clifton Springs Hospital: DEPARTMENT: Radiology: SCHEDULE: M-F; 8 am - 4:30 pm SUMMARY: As a Mammo Tech, you are to demonstrate excellent customer service, communication skills, and obtain quality positioning and imaging quality studies while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients. Warm and comforting patient care skills are mandatory for these sensitive procedures. Performs screening and diagnostic mammogram examinations and assists the radiologist in performing mammographic procedures. This team member’s role is to obtain images of good diagnostic quality while providing maximum comfort and safety to the patient undergoing these exams. RESPONSIBILITIES: Mammography. Perform and/or assist diagnostic, screening, ultrasound, and interventional mammography procedures; perform daily and periodic Mammography Quality Assurance (QA) activities under the direct supervision of the mammography QA Technologist; monitor image quality on a continuous basis to ensure that all quality standards are met General Maintenance.
