Hiire is Partnering with Gapstars to hire a Backend Software Developer (Medior) to join PFM Intelligence, Europe’s leading independent movement‑data platform. PFM processes real-time footfall and occupancy data for 7,800+ locations across NL, BE, DE, and the UK, and is currently transitioning into a full Platform‑as‑a‑Service (PaaS) company. This role plays a key part in that evolution. The focus of this position is to build high-impact backend integrations that connect PFM’s core platforms and automate critical commercial processes. This is a hands-on role where you will own meaningful technical components and contribute directly to how the platform scales. You will work closely with a senior engineer, backend developer, cloud migration specialist, and ERP application specialist in a remote-first, highly collaborative environment. Engineers make technical decisions, and you will have autonomy to design, build, and iterate on backend services that operate in production at scale.
