Job Summary: Under the direction of the Human Resource Manager, the Human Resource Specialist is responsible for onboarding/ orientation and assisting with recruitment. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: - Initiate new hire process for salaried and non-bargaining hourly positions and monitor progress of pre-employment paperwork and processes. This includes but is not limited to: - Background Screening - Preemployment Drug Screening - Onboarding paperwork tracking - Own and facilitate weekly Orientation for all new hires/rehires (English and Spanish) - I9 Verification - Assist in Fleet Compliance - Assist current Recruiter and HR Manager with creating, maintaining job posting. - Review applications and resumes, coordinate efforts with hiring managers, pre-screen...
