City/State Suffolk, VA Work Shift: Third (Nights) Overview: Sentara Obici Hospital located in Suffolk, Virginia is hiring an experienced Traveler Registered Nurse for the IMCU Stepdown unit. Night Shift: $70 per hour for a 14 week contract. Education: Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required Certification/Licensure: - Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing - Basic Life Support (BLS) - ACLS Experience: Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience. Unit Overview: The IMCU at Sentara Obici Hospital provides care for patients with a variety of surgical, cardiac, and post procedural neuro cases that stepdown from ICU. This unit sees a ratio of 1:5 with mixed patient acuity levels and is well supported with additional patient care technicians, educators, and a strong leadership team.
