Chevron USA - Marine is accepting online applications for the position of Steward located on one of their US Flag fleet of vessels through May 1st, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (PST). The S teward is the department head of the vessels Galley d epartment and reports directly to the Master of the vessel . Key Job Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Must be professionally skilled in the preparation of meals that are nutritious and healthy. Routine duties require supervision of galley staff; overseeing meal service operations ; supply management ; and e nsuring the department complies with company sanitary and safety standards. Specific tasks include s: ordering and inventory of provision supplies; menu planning ; super vision of daily meal production ; recipe development; maintaining sanitary environment; and complying with budget requirements . Must make sure that date-stamping for provision rotation is followed. Oversees the department in sustaining all galley areas, mess rooms and accommodation spaces are clean and in hygienic condition .
