Supervisor of Trade Theory Training Instructors for the Naval Shipyard Institute (NSI) ORBIS is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team. This role requires a proactive leader who can ensure the successful delivery of training programs, fostering the development of skilled professionals within the naval shipyard. Duties Include: - ORBIS liaison with shipyard or other Trade Theory Training (TTT) location staff. - Oversee and coordinate the delivery of on-the-job training using mock-ups, simulators, and demonstrations (shipboard or shop-based). - Ensure that instructors effectively communicate operations, material requirements, and safety protocols to trainees. - Monitor and evaluate the performance of instructors and provide guidance to enhance training effectiveness. - Collaborate with trade experts to update training materials and methodologies as needed.
