Job Description Hours: Full-Time Position – 35 Hours Work Location: 30-30 Thomson Avenue, LIC, NY 11101 The NYC Department of Design and Construction is seeking a Chief Financial Officer. Reporting directly to the Commissioner and working closely with senior staff, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)/ Chief Savings Officer (CSO) will manage the Finance & Procurement Division and be responsible for the agency’s budget, financial, and procurement functions. The CFO must support all efforts to improve capital project delivery, including internal process reform, innovation, and external oversight regulatory reform. The selected candidate will lead agency budget planning efforts to ensure sufficient funding for personal and other than personal services, manage the administration of the agency’s operating budget including revenue forecasts, collections, and expenditure review/approval in accordance with City policy and ensure that agency Capital Commitment Plan goals are met or exceeded.
