Overview/ Job Responsibilities Background NOAA's National Geodetic Survey (NGS) provides the framework for all positioning activities in the Nation. The foundational elements of latitude, longitude, elevation, and shoreline information impact a wide range of important activities. NGS has the responsibility of surveying and/or reviewing the surveys of thousands of U.S. airports for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) through the NGS Aeronautical Survey Program (ASP). Position Description Will work with NGS and FAA to understand their strategic goals and the relationships between the organizations to include regulations, specifications, and standards related to aeronautical surveys. Job duties include: The salary for this position is approximately $80,000 - 89,000/year. Work will be performed remotely and in-office to collaborate with colleagues. Approximately 50% telework permitted.
