Operating from sites close to our key customers in North America, Asia and Europe, the Barnes Aerospace group provides advanced technological solutions to the Aerospace Limited and Defence industry, leveraging an in-depth knowledge of fabrications, machining and the global supply chain to support complex aero-engine component manufacture and repair. 1 week rotation on shifts Dayshift 07:00 - 15:00 (Mon-Fri) Backshift 15:00 - 23:00 (Mon-Thu) 15:00 - 22:00 (Fri) Nightshift 23:00 – 07:00 (Mon-Thur) Key Responsibilities: - Set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines - Interpret Engineering drawings, process sheets, blueprints, and sketches of part to determine machining to be done, dimensional specifications, set up, and operating requirements - Interpret work instructions. - Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to maintain tolerances - Identify, select and set up tooling for operations being performed. - Operate multiple machine tools and operations. - Understand applicable quality systems and perform necess...
