Job description
The Team Ambulance Tasmania’s Communications Centre is a critical component of the Department of Health, supporting the delivery of timely, safe and effective emergency and non-emergency patient transport services across the state. The Communications Centre operates as a statewide service, coordinating emergency call receipt, dispatch and radio communications for Ambulance Tasmania. Working in close partnership with clinical operations, emergency services, hospitals, government agencies and service providers, the team ensures seamless coordination of emergency response and patient transport services. As part of the Department of Health, the Communications Centre contributes to improved health outcomes for the Tasmanian community through collaboration, innovation, and a strong focus on safety, resilience and continuous improvement.
