Now hiring for a Level 1 Automotive Technician on second shift! Advanced Medical Transport (AMT) is the premier provider of emergency and scheduled ambulance services in Central and Western Illinois, as well as parts of Iowa. AMT is a private, not-for-profit organization operated for community benefit. Our Level 1 Automotive Technician will complete our fleet mechanic team by performing routine, preventative maintenance on our fleet of emergency and transport vehicles. This is a second shift position, Tuesday through Saturday. Responsibilities include: Performs routine maintenance on vehicles such as replacing spark plugs and shock absorbers, checking and balancing wheels, checking for proper tire alignment and performing minor tune ups and oil changes. Assist with routine electrical work on automotive equipment such as installing batteries, repairing and adjusting lights.
