Day (United States of America) Admissions Registered Nurse The Admissions Registered Nurse will be primarily responsible for completing the RN admission process for patients being admitted through the ED. This includes, but is not limited to: - Admission assessments & screenings - Medical history - Medication reconciliation - Complete full-body skin screening - Braden risk assessment - Imaging of any identified skin disruption - Initiation of pressure injury protocol, as appropriate Additionally, this position will: - Engage in collaborative relationships with peers and other professional disciplines, apply principles of leadership and assume responsibility for professional growth and accountability. - Provide responsible and accountable nursing care based on established clinical nursing practice standards subscribed to by the American Nursing Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act. - Be responsible for the delivery of care utilizing the nursing process of assessing, collecting and documenting data in order to identify nursing diagnoses. - Currently licensed as a RN in the State of Florida. - Bachelor degree/diploma/associate degree from an accredited Sch...
