Valve Assembly Operator

Job description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: - Assemble manual, actuated, and automated valves, actuators, positioners, and associated flow control equipment in line with drawings, work instructions, and quality plans. - Test valves and pump equipment using workshop test rigs and equipment to ensure products meet specification and customer requirements. - Select and use appropriate hand tools, power tools, and components safely and effectively. - Interpret technical drawings, quality documentation, and special instructions to determine correct assembly and testing processes. - Record time, job progress, and required documentation in accordance with Emerson quality systems and workplace processes. - Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area, including shared spaces and equipment. - Comply with all Emerson and customer health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures. - Participate in daily huddles, planning meetings, and toolbox talks, contributing ideas and raising issues early to support team outcomes. - Collaborate with colleagues across operations, quality, and service teams to deliver reliable products and continuous improvement.
