Job description

Description The Caregiver/CNA is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care and assistance to residents and tenants living in assisted living settings. This includes support with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting a safe and clean environment, observing and reporting health changes, and working alongside other departments including dietary, housekeeping, and activities. The position serves a diverse client group including but not limited to individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, mental illness, physical disabilities, terminal illnesses, and frail elderly populations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Resident Care & Support: - Assist residents and tenants with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including: - Bathing, grooming, dressing - Toileting and incontinence care - Mobility and transfers - Eating and hydration - Medication reminders (if trained and delegated) - Encourage and assist residents in maintaining their independence and dignity. - Monitor for and promptly report changes in physical, emotional, or mental condition to supervisory staff. - Review and follow each resident’s/tenant’s Individualized Service Plan (ISP) prior to assuming care responsibili...
