General Purpose: Work under the direction of The Creamery Purchasing Specialist to purchase grocery, home and gift, and other merchandise and/or supplies, along with all purchase orders and associated paperwork, to support The Creamery business. Maintain accurate records of vendors and product shipments. Job Duties and ResponsibilitiES: - Ensure timely ordering and delivery of products. - Responsible for the purchasing from a specific list of vendors as provided by the purchasing specialist. - Assist with the management of purchase orders; monitor delivery schedules and backordered product; communicate with the purchasing specialist and adjust orders accordingly. - Verify pricing on invoices and manage expenses and paperwork under the direction of the purchasing specialist. - Communicate with vendors regarding broken and/or missing items. - Assi...
