Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus 8111 S Emerson Ave Indianapolis, Indiana 46237 The ED Technician II provides direct patient care, under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Physician, of all age groups from neonate through geriatric. This position may assist with patient transfers, repositioning, transporting of patients, obtaining supplies, or specimens, and any other duties as deemed necessary to ensure optimal patient care and physician service. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: Assist with CPR on full arrest patients. Complete assignments and reports to the responsible Registered Nurse. Demonstrates knowledge of the hospital safety plan, and acts accordingly during codes and drills. Gather equipment to start an IV when requested (secure IV pump, tubing, IV start kit, IV catheter).
