Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Surgical Technologist to join our Operating Room team on a Full-Time basis. The Surgical Technologist is responsible for aiding the professional nurse or physician in providing patient care to those patients requiring surgical procedures during the operative and immediate post-operative surgery. Essential Functions: - Prepares the Operating Room for patients - Keeping the operating room clean and sterile - Passing instruments and other sterile supplies - Routine inspection of sterile supplies - Understand the sterilization process Position Requirements: - Required: Graduate of an accredited program for Surgical Technologists - Preferred: Post-secondary coursework in Central Service skills - Preferred Professional Experience: One-year experience as a Surgical Technologist is preferred - Required Certification: Current BLS certification - Computer Competency: Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position.
