What You Can Expect As a BESS Technical Advisor within ENGIE Distributed Solar & Storage (DSS) you will support development of battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in our Pre-construction team. You will collaborate with Development, Origination, Engineering, Execution, and Procurement teams to find and develop attractive opportunities for BESS projects and lead technical and commercial aspects (cost) of BESS developments. You will contribute to technical aspects of proposals, permitting, and interconnection efforts of multiple developments and programs simultaneously, as outlined below: - Develop bespoke distributed BESS technical solutions - Support budgeting and EPC cost estimating for DG BESS projects - Support technical aspects of permitting and interconnection applications for BESS projects in our development pipeline - Present technical and operational aspects of BESS projects to BTM and Utility clients - Direct and supervise external consultant for early-stage / conceptual design phase and internal engineering in preparing preliminary site layouts, etc. What You’ll Bring: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science in relevant field - Minimum of 7 years of experie...
