Description The Department of Biology and Environmental Science at the University of New Haven invites applications for a tenure-track Environmental Science position beginning August 2021. The Department seeks to hire a teacher-scholar with a background in the ecology of coastal systems. We invite applications from candidates with experience in multidisciplinary approaches to research in areas including, but not limited to: ecological responses / adaptations to climate change in coastal environments, the resilience of complex adaptive systems, and the conservation of natural and built ecosystems in relation to environmental change. We are particularly interested in candidates who study processes at multiple spatial and temporal scales and use quantitative approaches to answer basic questions in ecology.
