FUNCTIONS & REQUIREMENTS: Purpose: The purpose of this job is to accurately and efficiently receive warehouse stock and ship all merchandise related to the distribution function of the company and serve as a company representative, promoting the reputation of United Central Industrial Supply in a positive manner. Primary Functions: - Perform assigned tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, receiving and storage of merchandise, picking and packing of customer orders and stock transfers. - Perform inventory cycle counts as requested and physical inventory as scheduled. - Keep supervisor informed of shortages, overages or damaged merchandise and unresolved customer complaints. - Verify accurate count of incoming or outgoing materials and merchandise. - Maintain accurate open and closed purchase order receipt files. -...
