Description Exempt position. Provide Health and Safety leadership to assigned facility to ensure worker safety and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and policies. Duties: · Develop and administer the facility HS plan and associate procedures. · Ensure the facility HS plan/procedures align with corporate health and safety policies, program and procedures. · Perform weekly safety inspections, support work planning, and prepare activity hazard analyses (AHA). · Ensure all work activities comply with HS plan/procedures. · Maintain accurate, complete records and documentation for H&S activities, including OSHA logs, incident reports, training records, and permits. Assist with the digital archiving of historic hardcopy records. · Coordinate with General Manager, department managers, and other personnel to ensure safety considerations are at the core of all activities and operations. · Foster a positive safety culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives related to Health & Safety. · Ensure timely coordination, notification, and reporting of health and safety incidents to senior management. · Serve as the facility’s competent authority for cri...
