About the Role The Financial Accountant role requires a strong foundation in accounting, compliance, and financial reporting. Responsibilities: - Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting - Prepare and review accruals, journal entries, and general ledger activity - Oversee intercompany reconciliations and ensure accuracy across entities - Maintain compliance with business licenses, registrations, and renewals - Assist with audits, internal controls, and policy adherence - Support month-end close and general accounting tasks - Maintain organized financial records and documentation - Manage year ‑ end 1099 filing process, including: - Ensuring verification of vendor W ‑ 9 forms - Reviewing vendor payments for 1099 eligibility - Preparing 1099 reports and coordinating electronic filing - Ensuring compliance with IRS deadlines and requirements Experience and Qualifications: Please Note: This position is a 12-month fixed-term contract. Salary Band – Financial Accountant: $65,000 to $75,000 USD – Salary offered will be based on candidates experience level.
