Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the registration of patients with a focus on customer service, ordering exams, gathering information, scheduling appointments, up front collections and the ability to interpret and ensure compliance with payor guidelines for accurate input. Duties may also include calling on Insurance and getting authorazations for exams. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Minimum Work Experience: Prior experience involving public contact. Required Licenses/Certifications: None Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Ability to interpret and generate written correspondence utilizing proper grammar, spelling and composition skills. Ability to operate office equipment, such as copy machine and fax machine. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Good communication skills essential.
