Job description

The Research Unit for Musculoskeletal Function and Physiotherapy (FOF), which is part of the Center for Musculoskeletal and Joint Health at the Department of Sports Science and Clinical Biomechanics , invites applications for 3-year part-time position as associate professor in sports medicine (20%) to be filled as of 1 September 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The Position: The position includes teaching and supervision, research and research dissemination, but with the main role being managing courses and supporting teaching and supervision of students at the Master in Physiotherapy within the specialisation in Sports Physiotherapy. The candidate may also take on the role as main supervisor for PhD students, for which the candidate secures funding. The candidate will be expected to contribute actively and positively to the working environment at the research group and must demonstrate a solid research output within sports medicine as well as be motivated to be actively involved in achieving the research unit’s vision .
