Koniag Emerging Technologies LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Storage Engineer to support our government customer in Washington, DC. This is a hybrid position that requires onsite presence once per week. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: The Storage Engineer position will own the full scope of SAN storage and SAN fabric devices, backup and restore-related duties for the client, ensure legal and technical compliance, and update and maintain documentation. The ideal candidate will be able to support the following functions: - Manage SAN devices, to include proper zoning and allocation of storage for the enterprise - Monitoring and managing regular backups, disaster recovery testing, and data retention activities - Supporting backup and recovery solutions including installation and configuration of backup clients - Scheduling all backup jobs and deconflicting cron jobs (Oracle, PeopleSoft)...
