Power BI Lead Developer

Job Summary: The Power BI Lead Developer is a role withing the Finance department where hands on experience designing, building, and deploying Power BI solutions is required. A successful candidate has a passion for consulting with our internal stakeholders to understand their needs, visual storytelling, and modeling data to deliver Power BI based solutions. This position brings and maintains in-depth knowledge on visual design and data modeling best practices within Power BI, performance tuning, deployment, and architecture planning, as well as being an expert in SQL. Job Duties: - Leads the design, development, and implementation of the company’s BI architecture and strategy - Collaborates with data governance team in developing data modeling standards, standardized datasets, and governance frameworks - Serves as the technical authority for Power BI development - Creates reusable components and templates for Power BI development - Understands business requirements and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights and compelling stories - Creates effective and compelling “art of the possible” presentations to help highlight solutions - Builds visualizations tha...
