Summary: Responsible for coordinating communication between Central Dispatch and Central Maintenance to ensure that equipment decisions are made to support both operational service requirements and maintenance compliance. This role will act as a neutral decision maker and central point of contact for equipment status, tracking of service switches, trailer bank management and equipment moves. The Equipment Coordinator ensures equipment is properly assigned, maintained, tracked, tagged and documented to support safe and efficient linehaul operations.
