PRIMARY FUNCTION: The HR Supervisor oversees the day-to-day departmental activities, administering human resources programs with emphasis on employment and employee relations matters, salaried recruiting and supervisor coaching and training. This role communicates and interprets company human resource policies and procedures for managers and employees in compliance with company policies and Federal and State legal requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: - Oversee the day-to-day activities in the Human Resources department to ensure work is completed in compliance with company policies and procedures and all Federal, State and local legal requirements - Counsel and guide managers on appropriate performance management measures; assist managers in writing corrective action memos and other documentation; attend or conduct corrective action sessions and follow-up as necessary - Advise managers and supervisors of state and federal regulations and effective human resource practices with regard to employee issues - Coordinate recruitment process for salaried (exempt and non-exempt) openings including sourcing, screening and interviewing; ensure offers are made in accordance with procedur...
