What’s the role? The Asset Manager - Facilities is responsible for leading and overseeing data centre facility operations to ensure the continuous, secure and efficient delivery of critical IT services for the Westpac Group. This role provides end‑to‑end ownership of facility operations, people leadership, vendor management and operational governance, while driving continuous improvement, compliance with safety and security standards, and strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high‑quality outcomes for customers. - Lead, manage and mentor a team of Facility Managers, ensuring capability development, high performance, and adherence to operational standards and change schedules - Own and manage data centre facility operations, including power, cooling, utilities, logistics, security and safety, ensuring 24/7 continuity of services and KPI compliance - Drive continuous improvement across facilities operations, processes and procedures, proactively identifying risks, efficiencies and site enhancements - Manage third‑party vendors and subcontractors to ensure effective maintenance of plant and mechanical systems, compliance with procedures, and delivery...
