Overview i3 is seeking a Structures Engineer to join our team and support a critical government program office by providing technical oversight of OEM structural testing activities and ensuring the integrity, compliance, and airworthiness of advanced aerospace systems. Responsibilities: As a Structures Engineer, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to: - Provide technical oversight and evaluation of OEM structural test plans, procedures, and schedules to ensure compliance with government requirements - Analyze structural test data and independently assess results, preparing briefings, reports, and risk assessments for program leadership - Collaborate with government engineers, OEMs, and cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to resolve technical challenges and ensure program alignment - Develop and review technical documentation including test evaluations, system procedures, and engineering assessments - Support structural testing activities by witnessing static, dynamic, and fatigue tests and ensuring adherence to approved methodologies - Engage with stakeholders and leadership through technical working groups, providing subject matter expertise an...
