Responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Technical Writer to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard. Responsibilities: - Lead planning, design, writing, and maintenance of comprehensive technical documentation: configuration settings, release plans, user/admin guides, SOPs, engineering artifacts, and change/release documentation. - Establish documentation templates, editorial standards, and versioning policies to ensure consistency, traceability, and compliance with Army, DoD, and enterprise requirements. - Maintain authoritative, version‑controlled knowledge repositories and documentation libraries covering full system and program lifecycles. - Collaborate with engineers, developers, cybersecurity, training, and policy stakeholders to capture requirements, validate technical accuracy, and translate complex information into clear, actionable artifacts. - Conduct content reviews and gap analyses to identify inconsistencies and drive corrective actions that support auditability, RMF/evidence needs, and operational readiness. - Produce high‑value materials for decision‑making, training execution, and sustainment, and support go...
