Job Description: Position Description: Maintains the stability and performance of large enterprise class mainframe computing systems. Monitors, tunes, and reports on z/OS performance and efficiency while collaborating and partnering across the entire organization and with vendor partners. Reviews Million Service Units per Second (MIPS) consumption within the Central Processor Complex, Logical Partitions (LPAR) (Virtual Machine), and addresses Space I level to adjust and meet business needs. Reviews and actively manages system memory usage for both LPARs and Coupling Facilities, submitting changes to effectively use resources. Analyzes Batch Performance and provides recommendations to meet batch Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
