SUMMARY: Bering Straits Global Innovations, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation, is currently seeking a qualified Construction Estimator for our Colorado Springs, Colorado office. This position is responsible for preparing detailed, responsive cost volume proposals in response to government and private solicitations. Individual must possess the ability to review and extract requirements from formal solicitation documents; solicit and obtain quotes for materials, equipment, and subcontracted tasks, and manipulate large work breakdown structures developed to support task totals; highly proficient with MS Excel to accurately develop and refine complex formulas and linkages on cost spreadsheets. Successful candidates will be familiar with the conceptual planning, preliminary design, design-build process, design- bid-build process, able to work independently and be comfortable interfacing with all members of the design, construction, and management teams.
