DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Operates a robotic welder. - Performs light maintenance such as replacing wire or changing weld tips. - Perform quality checks using Quality Department approved tools. - Inform the necessary supervisor/lead person of any equipment-related problems or concerns that may affect the quality of parts produced. - Manual welding is occasionally required to touch up the part or to weld a portion of the part the robot cannot reach. - Clocking on jobs and parts accurately. - Follow instructions from Steel Tech Enterprises and equipment documentation, including Shop Traveler, equipment manuals, and blueprints. - Maintain all required documentation. - Exhibits consistent safe working habits. - Wears all required Personal protective Equipment (PPE). - Maintain clean, clutter-free work area. - Perform other duties as assigned.
