Institute for Cardiogenetics - University of Lübeck The Institute for Cardiogenetics at the University of Lübeck invites applications for 3 years (PhD) or ≥2.5 years (Postdoc). The position is embedded in the DFG-funded Research Unit FOR 5930, a multidisciplinary collaboration arround Athero-Immunology between research institutions in Lübeck, Berlin, Borstel, and Kiel. About the Institute : Founded in 2013, the Institute for Cardiogenetics focuses on elucidating the genetic and molecular mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases, with particular emphasis on atherosclerosis and myocardial infarction. The institute integrates advanced molecular and cellular biology, multi-omics technologies, animal models, computational biology, and bioinformatics. The institute actively collaborates within national and international research networks, including: Cardiogenics, CARDIoGRAMplusC4D, PlaqOmics and VIAgenomics. Project Description: The successful candidate will investigate immunological and genetic mechanisms driving atherosclerosis.
