We are currently seeking a Full or Part-Time Plans Examiner to join our team in the San Anselmo, CA area. If you’re passionate about building safety, code compliance, and supporting public agencies, this is your chance to make a lasting impact. As a Plans Examiner, you’ll play a key role in ensuring building safety and compliance while working closely with public agencies, architects, contractors, and the community. What You'll Do: - Review building plans and specifications for compliance with codes, covering architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, energy conservation, green building standards, accessibility, and egress. - Coordinate plan reviews with other public agencies requiring approval. - Provide detailed feedback on required corrections and modifications, and guiding applicants through the process. - Authorize the issuance of building permits when plans...
