Visiting Assistant Professor, Spanish (1-Year Term)

Description Ursinus College invites applicants for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position in Spanish beginning fall 2023. Responsibilities include teaching three courses each semester. These courses will include elementary or intermediate Spanish-language courses and, possibly, an upper-level literature and culture course in Spanish or a first-year seminar in English. All areas of specialization will be considered. Anticipated Start Date: Fall 2023: Qualifications: Candidates are expected to have a native or near native proficiency in Spanish and hold a doctoral degree in Spanish or a closely related field. ABD candidates expected to defend soon will be considered. Previous experience teaching Spanish to undergraduate students is preferred.
