Worker Type: Employee Job Post End Date: 05/01/2026: About this opportunity: Cenovus Energy is seeking a Senior Process Safety Engineer to lead the process safety initiatives to support a zero-harm work environment by mitigating risk and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to address process safety issues at our Superior, WI refinery. Relocation will be provided. What you’ll do: Ensure regulatory compliance with U.S. process safety requirements, including OSHA PSM (29 CFR 1910.119) and EPA Risk Management Program (RMP). Lead and support refinery process safety programs, providing technical safety and engineering expertise across PHA/HAZOP, LOPA, MAH, and Management of Change (MOC). Drive continuous improvement of process safety systems, workflows, and assurance mechanisms to ensure consistent and effective implementation. Serve as a change agent, embedding process safety principles across the organization and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
