Job DetailsJob Location: FHN Memorial Hospital - FREEPORT, IL 61032Position Type: Benefit Eligible Part-time; P.6 (48)Salary Range: $16.20 - $26.73 HourlyJob Shift: VariesJob Category: Health CareJob Summary Essential support system to Emergency Department, providing assistance with patient care and diagnostics. Assist nursing staff in provision of care for emergency patients by obtaining EKG's, phlebotomy, transport and C.N.A. type of care to patients. Job Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned. Perform 12-lead EKG's and submit results to professionals (RN/MD) for analysis. Perform phlebotomy on patients in all age groups. Collect and label specimens and send them to the laboratory. Transport patients to other departments as necessary. Perform vital signs (temp, pulse, respiration, BP, oximetry) and ADL's and record on ED Chart. Checking equipment and stocking rooms as assigned and is responsible for instrument processing. Assists nurses in care delivery or procedures as directed.
