Description NORTHWEST NAZARENE UNIVERSITY: DEPARTMENT OF ATHLETICS: Graduate Assistant - Athletic Communications Description of Position: Northwest Nazarene University Northwest Nazarene University is accepting applications for the position of Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant. This is a part-time, year-around, temporary position that reports to the Sports Information Director. Essential Functions: - Assists with writing press releases and feature stories on varsity sports. - Helps with team media days and maintaining and updating the NNU Athletics website and archives. - Assists with sports information duties at home competitions, including producing gameday programs, taking statistics, live-streaming, and videography/photography. - Assists with social media content creation and management. - Participates as a member of the Athletics Operations team. - Performs other duties as assigned by the Sports Information Director.
