Overview The School of Professional and Technical Education (SPTE) at Utah State University (USU) seeks candidates for a full-time, academic-year (9-month), non-tenure track term lecturer position in the Welding Technology program. The Welding Technology program offers both a Technical Certificate (TC) and an Associate of Applied Science (AAS). The appointment is 95% teaching and 5% service. It is anticipated that the individual selected for this faculty position will start in August 1, 2026. In an effort to expand the availability of program course offerings, the successful candidate for this position will teach a variety of welding courses. As part of USU’s land grant mission to make academic programs accessible throughout the state, this position will be physically located at the USU Eastern Campus in Price, Utah. Responsibilities: The successful applicant for this position will teach, improve, and develop courses in the esteemed USU Eastern welding program with an emphasis on students enrolled in the Welding degree programs.
