Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Patient Access ED Registrar who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Patient Access Lead, you will: - Rotate through all Patient Access areas and fill-in wherever needed to provide coverage. - Train and monitor activities of Patient Access Representatives for patient and family inquiries, registration and Bed Control activities. - Support Patient Access in updating patient information, processing insurance requirements and acts as liaison with other departments. - Exhibits leadership skills needed to support the department and to assist staff with adhering to departmental policies and procedures. - Exhibit an expert understanding of registration and contractual requirements of the various payers. - Promotes team building.
