Overview: The Job in a Nutshell: The Tax Manager is responsible for managing Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage, Inc.’s tax compliance, accounting, and reporting activities with a primary focus on indirect taxes and related income‑tax responsibilities. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, this role oversees sales and use tax, property tax, income tax provisions, tax credits, and depreciation‑related tax matters in a multi‑state retail environment. The Tax Manager serves as a key subject‑matter expert and business partner to Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Treasury, supporting audit readiness, internal controls, and continuous process improvement across tax functions.
