Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY The Clinical Support Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the TransMedics Organ Care System (OCS) program. Following extensive training, this position provides clinical and operational support to ensure the safe maintenance, optimization, and transport of donor organs for transplantation. The role requires travel to transplant centers and operational hubs, supporting OCS Specialists and ensuring consistent adherence to TransMedics protocols, policies, and quality standards. RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties including but not limited to: Clinical & Technical Support Travel to transplant centers (primarily local or regional but may vary) to provide coverage and relief to OCS Specialists on extended cases. Maintain and optimize procured organs on the OCS in accordance with TransMedics’ clinical protocols. Operate the OCS console and perform technical tasks including: Communicate effectively with internal and external clinical teams throughout all stages of transport and support. Operational Support.
