Job description

Shift: 2nd Pay: $20.75 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Primarily responsible for weighing boxes of product; ensures accuracy of weight, labels, and codes. Must always use and maintain personal protective equipment, and work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: - Weigh loaded trailers in and print a weigh ticket - Distribute live haul trailers underneath a holding shed using a yard truck or tractor. - Bring loaded trailers around to be unloaded by a forklift. - Bring empty trailers back to scales to be weighed out to establish a tare weight. - Enter tickets in a database. - Trailers are to be “bucked” and “un-bucked” in a timely manner. - Stray birds are to be kept up and delivered to the dumper. - Holding shed fans and fogging system are to be monitored and turned on or off based on our animal welfare guidelines and the comfort level of the birds being held. - Scale office is to be kept clean and orderly as well as helping keep outside (scales, holding shed, etc.) clean and neat. - At times this position calls for double shifts - Move trailers to and from the bay for the bo...
