Nursery Person - Equipment Operator, Hardscapes Union Position Qualifications: Duties: Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday – Friday, April-November. Overtime and flexibility required during peak season. This position is subject to seasonal reassignment. Benefits: - High school diploma plus 2-year certificate in related field. - Two years’ experience in operation of nursery/farm machinery and equipment including tractors, skid loaders, forklift, front-end loader, dump truck, tree space, road grader semi-tractor/trailer, and/or others. - Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly - Valid driver’s license. - Training in CPR and First Aid desirable - Landscape hardgoods knowledge strongly preferred. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Position requires working outdoors in all weather conditions - Load soil, rock, mulch, natural stone and concrete materials on trucks and trailers - Operate all equipment in a safe, responsible manner - Perform routine light maintenance on equipment - Pull orders in a timely manner - Work with buyers and sales team to keep yard stocked and inventory accurate - Provide excellent customer service - Perform all Nursery Person duties as directed. - Train other...
