Position Overview: - Department : Patient Services - Schedule : Full Time Days and Nights available - Work Location : UAB Highlands location - Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: Provide observation and surveillance of assigned patients. - Monitor patients by use of video monitors. - Communicate and/or instruct patients by use of 2-way audio device. - Notify clinical staff of any changes in patient condition and/or safety risk level. - Complete documentation of observations of patient activities, patient behaviors and other safety & comfort related issues. What You Will Need: Education: - BLS Provider preferred. - High school diploma or GED required.
