 COMMUNICATIONS ELECTRICIAN LEAD (6054): In the absence of appropriate supervision or when directed, leads, assists, and works with other departmental personnel to ensure the efficient operation of related activities. May be required to develop schedules, direct work assignments, prepare job related reports, complete other administrative duties, function in a journeyman capacity, and perform other work as needed. Employees will perform any and all tasks for which they are properly trained and can completely and safely perform. COMMUNICATIONS ELECTRICIAN II (6108): With almost no supervision and oversight be capable of working independently to diagnoses the causes of poor performance or non-operation of radio or communication equipment. Performs installation, field testing and maintenance of communications systems, telephone switchboards and other terminal equipment, supervisory, microwave, multiplex, radio, 950 MHz data radios, "T" carrier, fiber optic, hardware, and multiplex tone equipment, scada/ems computer, rtu, and all associated hardware, fiber optic cable splicing, remote signal and remote control equipment, load frequency control and telemetering equipment, and any new te...
