SUMMARY OF POSITION: This position is accountable for preparing clear, accurate working drawings for use by other departments and shop personnel in the construction of railroad tank cars and their components. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: The incumbent must lead by example and ensure that safety comes before all else. The incumbent works to epitomize Union Tank Car’s Quality Policy and to meet internal and external customer expectations at all times by fully applying oneself to the task involved, preventing errors, and developing and implementing personal quality improvement projects.
