Job Description: Job Summary The CNC Technician is a critical member of Boyd Allenton’s manufacturing operations team. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical support to our CNC machining department. Essential Job Responsibilities: Develops CNC programs as required. Completes setup of all CNC jobs with required fixtures and tooling. Trains employees to set up and program CNC machines. Orders perishable tooling for the CNC machines. Approves CNC machine setups. Documents specific setups and processes as necessary. Attends any required Technical Team meetings. Maintains a clean and orderly work area. Supports and follows all QMS requirements. Observes all Boyd safety guidelines and OSHA procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent Strong ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T. Substantial understanding and knowledge of CNC programming. Previous manufacturing experience is required. Proficient with MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and use of a PC.
